Reservation batches and the shipping window
Reservations ship in the order they came in. The first batch leaves the line in the first week of December, demo date.
Fig. 1 · demo render
The reservation list is now split into batches of two hundred. Each batch is built and shipped before the next one starts, so the people who reserved first get theirs first.
The window
Batch one leaves the line in the first week of December and batch two three weeks later. Those dates are demo figures for a fictional product; on a real launch site this is where the honest estimate goes, and where it gets corrected in a later post if it slips.
If you reserved a Sand or Graphite pair, your place in line is kept, and your batch starts once the first Slate run is complete.
Seen enough?
Reserve a pair in under a minute. Demo form, nothing is sent.
