Shell colour locked: Slate ships first
After three rounds of samples the first batch ships in Slate. Sand and Graphite follow once the first run is out.

Why Slate first
We looked at the three finishes side by side under daylight and under a desk lamp. Slate held its colour best in both, and it hides fingerprints better than Graphite. That settled the order: Slate is the launch finish.
Sand and Graphite are not cancelled. They go into production as soon as the first run clears the line, which the current plan puts about five weeks after launch. Reservations can already name a finish, and we will honour the order they came in.
What changed on the shell
The trim line around the cup is now a single piece instead of two. It costs a little more per unit and removes one visible seam. Demo note for template buyers: every date and figure in these updates is invented for the fictional Avrel brand.
